Saturday, January 24
10:45am-7pm
The old you is in mortal danger.
You'll face actually getting what you most deeply desire in life.
You'll live life more from your values & principles, less from ill-fitting beliefs of: the past; your family; society…
Done playing victim in your life.
Done with reacting; with merely keeping up.
Truly ready to operate more out of abundance, love & choice; not fear; not scarcity…
We'll be acknowledging your mind - the
part usually engaged when thinking about goals. And we'll also guide
you through unique methods to clarify the desires and concerns that
reside in your heart, your intuition, your sexuality and your body.
Doing this enables you to sustain your motivation, and to
remove the gotchas that can get in the way down the road.
This ensures that all parts of yourself are aligned (and taken care
of) in your vision for 2009. It unlocks parts of you that may have
been frozen, forgotten or ignored. This re-integration can
naturally free up a large amount of energy and creativity. This
allows you to be more deeply authentic; to naturally shine
brightly as you accomplish your goals.
And this embodied integration inspires others to respond even more
positively to all that you have to offer.
It'll challenge you. It'll exhilarate you. It'll help clarify your deepest
desires for 2009.

I left feeling energized and grounded, shared much with my partner that night, and feel like it's provided me with more confidence, very clear direction in areas for continued personal and interpersonal work, and an incredibly fun and informative format to accomplish that work.
I left actually able to feel the joy and own my accomplishments over the last six months...I have kicked ass, and I wasn't able to deeply feel my happiness because I was afraid of really owning it...like if I owned it I might lose it.
If that were the only positive thing I would have left with (and it's not) then the workshop was priceless.
I also realize how scared I've been to own yes & no and how that's impacted my life...I have done much work around this already but wow was that an eye opener. I loved it!
I loved how it was an interactive workshop that mixed movement, somatic awareness, psychology & coaching to provide insight into the ways we hold ourselves back from living the life we want. It's a great way to get more in touch with yourself and find new strategies for living a juicy life. And to get over any inhibitions you might have shouting or living juicily. Getting in touch with the life you want and going after it in body, mind and spirit.
There was a great range...from NVC to David Deida ... the movement work, it just felt really broad without being watered down or disconnected. It was well structured, which I initially struggled with but found to be very effective.
It kept us on edge as participants, and to be able to contain that energy and openness as a group was beautiful.
Being around other people willing to go there helped
allow me to lighten up a bit. I really enjoyed the exercise of speaking
from various body parts...really useful. Also the reminder that this is
the intro and the exercises are for long term practice...I loved way it
all wrapped up so neatly, and I left with clear direction and motivation.
It was fun...this is big tough work and it takes a lot to hold but
there was a really fun playful energy that I loved and appreciated.

I found the workshop to be a powerful chance to communicate with the REST of your being (not just your blabbering HEAD). Landmark, for example, focuses only on mental technologies.
Whole Body Wisdom brings the rest of one's self
into the discussion, which is incredibly robust!
J., Oakland
I enjoyed the chance to get out of my head and into my body. I felt sexy at the event — empowered. The rest of my being was valued and listened to, which was incredibly eye opening and gratifying.
I liked that we were forced to choose partners in silence. I also like that we were to write in our own diaries. At first I thought that you should provide them for us, but I'm so much happier to know that my notes are in a format that's already integrated into my intimate life. Some random new notepad would just be a royal pain in the ass to integrate!
The best part of the event for me was bringing another person into my life as an accountability partner.
The event allowed me to focus on some really difficult areas for me: saying yes and saying no. This is something I have to do in my every day life, and I can't stress enough just how valuable it is for me. I would like to have even more time to practice (role play?) communication with people in THREATENING and UNCOMFORTABLE ways, since it helps me to defuse my emotional attachments.
Being forced to work in a very tight time frame helped me to see that I can really set goals and timelines in a much shorter amount of time than I previously thought was possible. For example, I hadn't been planning out my next years because it seemed like it would take an entire weekend -- or longer. Instead, we wrote our obituary and plans in less than an hour!
I left feeling amazing, powerful, excited, and connected with myself.
Since then I've started meditating every morning and asking the four parts of my body (head, heart, stomach, genitals) what wisdom they have to offer me.
My gut has had the strongest info for me. I'm now
listening to my gut more and it's had a very positive impact on my life!
Justin Winokur, Los Angeles
I found the workshop really valuable in several ways.
First, just setting aside the whole day to do this kind of reflection was worth the money paid for the workshop.
Second, as it happened--bonus!!--the instruction, exercises & tools were provocative & eye-opening. I don't talk in terms of "breakthroughs" but in terms of slight changes in perception, which can be just as powerful...Small shifts in my approach to to-do's, "have-to's," and visioning techniques had a very positive overall effect. I'm looking at my 2008 planning with less of a sense of difficult compulsion and more of a sense of easy creation.
The physical element was very interesting. It's
not new to me to think of emotions, thoughts, and the life of the body
working together in concert, but the particular exercises (the No! and
Yes! ab-crunches with a partner, e.g.) were a compelling reminder to
deepen my yoga practice and spend more beneficial time at the gym and on
the dance floor.
Emily S., San Francisco
In all the work I've done, one thing that always pissed me off was what I perceived as expert driven models that keep a divide between participant/client/patient and expert (dr./therapist/whatever...).
There seems to be a model that says if we meet as human beings, we've made a mistake because one of us is there to fix the other. And I think it's bullshit and in many situations causes far more pain for both. One has to be fixed and one has to fix, and that's a hell of a lot of pressure for both since I think ultimately we need to find our own power and then our own interdependence in relationship. The current model is disempowering.
So I found it incredibly refreshing and positive when Scott would cheer for his own mistakes & others, or shared about his own work and needs.
Hoorah for you for being able to do that and still lead and facilitate and maintain both roles. I knew I had much to learn and came away with a great experience...from genuine imperfectly perfect facilitators.
Owning your needs, Scott, was especially powerful
since so often we're rewarded for working the extra hours and cutting
ourselves off from our bodies...I do it all too often and it was fantastic
modeling for me. Thank you.
Krista Bray, San Francisco
Thanks again so much for the opportunity to participate in the workshop. I had some nice insights, reflections and clarities and I'm glad I spent the day with you and everyone.
I enjoyed very much how embodied Scott was and how comfortable he was in modeling sharing his juicyness. I thought he was captivating to listen to, and kept my attention well, which is hard to do.
I enjoyed the visioning at the end of the day and found myself writing things like "I will have two kids", which very much surprised me because I've thought for the last several years that I wouldn't have kids.
It was nice for me to be in the workshop because
I really took a break from personal growth work for most of 2006 and 2007
and it was perfect to have it at the beginning of the year because it
really sets a stage for me to be invested in myself.

The Purpose of WholeBody Wisdom is to empower and integrate all parts of yourself -- so that you can be:
Passionate,
Powerful,
Open, and
Loving
in the face of real world challenges.
WholeBody Wisdom
is based on the belief that we are the most powerful and free when we have integrated all parts of ourselves into one healthy system.
This system includes the mental body, the physical body, the
emotional body,
the intuitive body and the sexual body.
When each body is aligned with our core essence, and the bodies are
synergistically functioning together -- we can experience the greatest peace of mind
as we joyfully serve ourselves, our relationships and the world around us.
We believe that each body has valid wants, needs, desires and concerns.
These need to be, at the very least, heard and acknowledged.
Each body also has unique wisdom, strength and guidance to share with the other areas of the self. We are at our wisest when we are able to hold court listening to the interests, concerns and wisdom of each part of ourselves. Not being controlled by any one, but being advised and supported by them all.
WholeBody Wisdom offers workshops & private sessions which help men, women and couples embody powerful ways of being that can transform their life, their relationships, and the world around them.
